Salary tax
Box 1 estimate
The calculator applies the 2026 Box 1 brackets and national-insurance rates for someone below Dutch state-pension age. Box 2 and Box 3 are separate calculations.
30% Ruling
Only with an approved decision
Switch this on only when your employer applies a valid expat-scheme decision in payroll. The reimbursement is up to 30% in 2026 and salary thresholds can limit it.
Heffingskortingen
Income-dependent credits
The estimate can include the general and employment tax credits. Your final entitlement depends on total income, age, residence, and whether the payroll credit is used elsewhere.
Not included
Employer and personal items
The estimate cannot know your pension deduction, company car, other income, personal deductions, treaty position, or every employer-specific payroll item.
What makes the estimate useful
A transparent planning result, with its limits kept visible
Use it to plan and compare. Use your contract, payslip, and assessment for the final answer.
Dated inputs
2026 rules and verification dates
Rates and thresholds are tied to a tax year, checked against primary sources, and dated so you know when to recheck them.
